IPA - Boston 2019

IPA - Ireland and UK Branch went to march in the St Patrick's Day Parade in Cape Code on 09 March to honour Sgt Sean Gannon who was tragically killed in the line of duty in April 2018. The tour attracted 21 IPA members from Ireland and the UK. The delegation had 3 nights in Cape Cod and 3 nights in Boston and were hosted by dignitaries at scheduled official engagements in both locations, where IPA members made presentations to Governor Charlie Baker, Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito, State Representatives Tim Whelan and Paul Tucker, MA, Mayor Kimberly Driscoll, Salem,MA, Commissioner William Gross, Boston Police Department, Colonel Kerry Gilpin, MA State Police, Chief Frank Frederickson, Yarmouth Police Department, Chief Mary Butler, Salem Police Department, Sheriff James Cummins, Barnstable Sheriffs Office, Major Barney Murphy, Barnstable Sheriffs Department, and Executive Board Members, Boston Emerald Society.
